THESSALY, Pharsalos, silver triobol, 440-425 B.C., (2.722 grams), obv. Athena head to right in close fitting helmet, rev. horse's head to right in incuse square, **F AR* downwards on right of horse, (cf.S.2187 [Å“140], Lavva 17 [obv. V12, rev. R11, same dies], SNG Ash.3913 [same reverse die]). Nearly very fine and rare.

Lavva reports 15 examples of this type from these dies.
