ITALY, Bruttium, Locri Epizephyrioi, (Colony of Corinth), (c.317-300 B.C.), silver stater, (8.66 grams), obv. Pegasos with pointed wing flying to right, thunderbolt below, rev. head of Athena to right in Corinthian helmet over a leather cap, **LOK[RWN]* before head, (S.483, Calciati 13/1 [p.577], BMC 10). Toned, extremely fine and a very scarce mint.
