ITALY, Campania, Neapolis, silver didrachm or nomos, 395-385 B.C., (7.12 grams), Obv. Head of nymph right with hair bound in bands, Rev. Man-headed bull walking left, head facing, crowned by Nike flying left above, double exergue line, and below **NHOPOLITAS*, (cf.S.299, Sambon 362 [p.205 same obverse dies], HN 563 [p.69], Rutter 185 [p.158, Pl.19, obv. 114, rev. 167, notes 5 examples in collections), BMC 39-41 [same dies], SNG Cop.387 [same dies]). Toned, fine/good fine, somewhat off centred and very rare.
