PHILIP I, (A.D. 244-249), AE sestertius, Rome mint, issued 248, (21.11 grams), obv. laureate bust to right, around IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG, rev. Emperor Philip on horseback to left, raising right hand, around ADVENTVS AVGG, S C in exergue, (S.2588, RIC 165, C.6). Even brown patina, good very fine and scarce.
