BOLIVIA, Charles II (1665-1700), cob eight reales, Potosi mint, 1687 date, assayer VR, (KM.26). Weak in places, parts of original find patina, otherwise fine - very fine.

Ex 'H.M.S. Association' wreck off Gilstone Reef, Scillies, UK, wrecked on October 21, 1707). Lot includes a Certificate of Origin, signed by J.R.Heslin (Diving leader) and T.J. Hiron (Dive Surveyor); Scillonian Diving Services.
