GREECE, bronze head of Alexander the Great made in Hellenistic period, 2nd Century B.C. Flowing hair with anastole, back of head with flat surface, broken off at neck (45 x 35mm). Fine dark brown patina, of fine style, very fine and rare.

Ex Giessener Munzhandlung Dieter Gorny auction 93, Munich November 20, 1998 (lot 3106) and David G.L Worland Collection.
