PROVIDENTIA AVG, Providentia standing left, S P across, C in exergue, (S.3594 [£150], RIC 105); Diocletian, (A.D. 284-305), billon antoninianus, Lugdunum mint, (3.590 grams), issued 290-2, obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right, around IMP DIOCLETIANVS AVG, rev. Jupiter seated to left, holding Victory on globe and sceptre. around IOVI AVGG, A in exergue, (cf.S.3513, RIC 28). Very fine - nearly extremely fine, the first rare. (2)
