NUMERIAN, (A.D. 283-284), billon antoninianii, Cyzicus mint, (4.102 grams), obv. radiate bust of Numerian to right cuirassed, around IMP C NVMERIANVS P F AVG, rev. around CLEMENTIA TEMP, Numerian receiving Victory from Jupiter or Carus, E between them, XXI in exergue, (S.3428, RIC 463, C.8) another as Caesar, Antioch mint, ((4.248 grams), obv. similar around IMP C M AVR NVMERIANVS NOB C, rev. VIRTVS AVGG, Numerian receiving Victory on globe from Jupiter, star above, A below, XXI in exergue, (S.3426, RIC 376, C.111). Some pitting on the reverse for second coin, but with nearly full silvering, otherwise good very fine or better and scarce. (2)
