CRISPINA, wife of Commodus, (m. A.D.177), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 180-2, (2.836 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Crispina with hair bound up behind head, around CRISPINA AVGVSTA, rev. HILARITAS around, Hilaritas standing to left, holding long palm and cornucopiae, (S.6000, RIC 282, RSC 18). Good very fine and scarce.

Ex Noble Numismatics Sale 73 (lot 3613). The Reka-Devnia hoard contained 596 coins of Crispina and 47 coins of this variety.
