ANTONINIUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 145, (3.452 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT COS IIII, Virtus standing left holding spear and parazonium, (S.4121, BMC 563, RIC 154, RSC 945). Toned, extremely fine.

The Reka-Devnia hoard contained 7734 denarii of Antoninus Pius and 22 of this variety.
