ANTONINIUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued 155-156, (3.582 grams), obv. ANTONINVS PIVS P P IMP II, laureate head to right, rev. TR POT XIX COS IIII, Annona standing left, left hand on modius set on prow, holding corn ears, (cf.S.4123, RIC 249, RSC 983). Lightly toned, slightly off-centred reverse, otherwise good very fine.
