GALBA, (A.D. 68-69), silver denarius, issued late 68 - January 69, Rome mint, (3.502 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Galba, around [I]MP SER GALBA CAESAR AVG, rev. Livia standing to left, holding patera and sceptre, around DIVA AVGVSTA, (cf.S.2102 [£375 VF], BMC 8, RIC 186 (4), RSC 55). Toned with golden highlights, good very fine and rare.
