ANTONINIUS PIUS, (A.D. 138-161), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 139, (2.634 grams), obv. ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P, bare head to right, rev. AVRELIUS CAES AVG PII F COS DES, bare bust draped of Marcus Aurelius to right, (cf.S.4522, RIC 411a, BMC 125, RSC 2). Very fine, very scarce.
