THE BANK OF AUSTRALASIA, third issue, one pound, Wellington, 1st January 1929 856225, imprint of Perkins Bacon & Co. Ltd London (L.411; P.S132; Robb 5a). Still with crispness, fading to the green overprint and signatures, may have been in a frame, otherwise fine.
The normal issued note is printed in green on purple. This example is printed in green on cerise. It is unclear if the main top colour (purple) has been been completely missed during the printing process, or if the note has been exposed to sunlight.
