SICILY, Acragas (Agrigentum), (c.520-472 B.C.), silver didrachm, (8.606 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AKRAC behind, rev. crab within circular incuse field, (S.709, cf.SNG ANS 945 [similar dies]). Usual surface marks, good silver patina, fine/very fine and rare.
