SICILY, Akragas (Agrigentum), (c.520-500 B.C.), silver didrachm, Jenkins Group I, (8.172 grams), obv. eagle with closed wings standing to left, AKRA[C] A[NTO**S*] around, rev. crab on plain broad flan, (cf.S.708, SNG Cop.21 [Pl.1 same dies]. SNG Ash. 1651 [similar dies], SNG ANS 912 [similar dies]). Fine/good fine and rare, the earliest type.
