VESPASIAN, (A.D. 69-79), silver denarius, Rome mint, issue of A.D. 78-9, (3.044 grams), obv. CAESER VESPASIANVS AVG, laureate head to right, rev. CERES AVGVST, Ceres standing to left holding poppy and ears of corn, (S.2283, RIC 132, RSC 54). Well centred, very fine or better and rare in this condition.
