VITELLIUS, (A.D. 69), silver denarius, issued 69, Rome mint, (3.434 grams), obv. laureate head to right of Vitellius, around A VITELLIVS GERM IMP AVG TR P, rev. Vesta veiled seated to right on throne, holding patera and sceptre, around PONT MAXIM, (S.2200, BMC 34, RIC 20, RSC 72). Toned, light scratches in field botrh sides, otherwise good very fine and scarce.
