CLAUDIUS, (A.D. 41-54), silver cistophorus, Ephesus mint, issued 41-42, (10.836 grams), obv. bare head of Claudius to left, around TI CLAVD CAES AVG, rev. DIAN EPH either side of tetrastyle temple, containing THE Ephesian Diana cult statue of the goddess, (S.1839 [£850 VF], RIC 118, RPC 2222, RSC 30). Good fine and scarce.
