TIBERIUS, (A.D. 14-37), silver denarius, Lugdunum mint, issued A.D. 15-16, (3.678 grams), obv. laureate head of Tiberius to right, around traces of TI CAESAR DIVI AVG F AVGVSTVS, rev. TR POT XVII, IMP VII, Tiberius in triumphal quadriga to right, holding eagle-tipped sceptre and branch, (S.1762 [£275 VF], RIC 4, BMC 7, RSC 48). Toned, off centred reverse, otherwise nearly very fine and rare.
