L. FARSULEIUS MENSOR, (c.75 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.782 grams), obv. Liberty diademed and draped bust to right, S C and cap of Liberty behind, MENSOR before, LXVII behind, rev. Roma in biga to right assisting togate figure to mount, scorpion below, L. FARSVLEI in exergue, (S.328 [£80 VF], Cr.392/1a, Syd.789a, B. Farsuleia 1). Nearly extremely fine and rare.

This type may allude to the lex Julia (B.C.90) by which the right of citizenship was granted to all Italians.
