SASANIAN KING, Kavad I, (A.D. 488-496, 498-531), silver drachm, second reign issue, (3.756 grams), AH = Ahmatana mint, year 40, obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, crescents on shoulders, rev. fire altar, (Sellwood 51, Gobl 183, M.1021). Good very fine and very scarce.

The Ahmatana mint is not listed in Sellwood but noted in Mitchiner.
