SASANIAN KING, Yazdgard II, (A.D. 438-457), silver drachm, probably NVKI or 'Navaki' mint, (3.854 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, name in outer margin, rev. fire altar, with 'rasti' (just or truth) on shaft, (Sellwood 47, cf.Gobl 165, Panuck 337-340, M.971). Well centred, good very fine, very scarce.
