CARIA, Alabanda, silver tetradrachm, issued 167-166 B.C., (16.846 grams). obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, rev. above **ALABANDEWN*, Pegasos springing to right; A below, (S.4762 [£850], Waggoner 'Kraay-Morkholm Essays' Series 4, p.289, [l.LXVI, 11 same obverse die]; Boehringer, Chron. p.189, 9; SNG Helsinki 5; SNG Copenhagen -; SNG von Aulock 8050). Slightly off centred strike, otherwise nearly extremely fine, with a light iridescent tone. Rare.
