THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 6.004 g). Obv. head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, Rev. horse standing right, about to roll onto grass; plant below. (cf.S.2120, Lorber, Hoard, pl. 5, 61; Herrmann group VII, pl. V, 12; SNG Copenhagen -). Good very fine, bright and a rare variety.
