SWEDEN, Frederick I (1720-1751), two dalers of plate money, 1750, obv. crowned AFRS monogram and date 1750 at corners, and central stamp of 2 dalers, (KM.PM71). Water worn, square shape, otherwise fine - very fine and rare.

Ex Wreck of the Danish ship 'Nichobar' wrecked of Quoin Point, Cape Town, South Africa in 1783. The lot comes with certificate prepared for the recovered plate money pieces from that wreck.
