M in centre omega above, around +[DEI GRAC]R, rev. + [SI]CIL[IE] around a cross potent with dot in each corner, (MEC 621-623, Spahr 217, cf.Biaggi 1280); another Charles I of Anjou, (1266-1285), billon denari, Messina mint, copper coinage, obv. K and lis in centre, around traces of +AROL DEI GRA, rev. cross with pellet at each end, around traces of +REX SICILIE, (MEC 652-653, Spahr 48, cf.Biaggi 1292). Fine - very fine and both very scarce. (2)
