CHINA, Northern Sung Dynasty, Emperor Jen Tsung, (A.D. 1023-1063), iron money tree of 20 large iron coins in two rows, issued as Zhi-He Zhong Bao (1054-1055), each coin 32mm, tree length 440 mm, width 85 mm, (S.-, TFP 917, Pl.89). Fine and very rare.
This is a very rare, large and near perfect part iron money tree, recently excavated from Shan-Xi, an ancient mint site.
