Christ enthroned facing wears nimbus, in hand the Gospels, +KERO H**Q*EI around, rev. facing figures of the Virgin on right placing hand on head of John II on left wearing loros, who holds a cross on globe, legends downwards on left in rows, (S.1940, Hendy Pl.9, 9, var.B). Broad and uneven flan, good very fine and scarce.
