UNION BANK OF AUSTRALIA, specimen five pounds, on card, Portland, undated 18-, not numbered, imprint Perkins, Bacon & Co. London, Patent Hardened Steel Plate, stamped 'Specimen' across signature reserves, with '18th January / 1853' in pencil in lower margin (MVR type 1). Tipping marks and water stain on back, ink marks on surface otherwise extremely fine and rare.
