CHINA, Chou Dynasty, Middle to late period, Warring State period, (450-221 B.C.), City state of P'ing Chih, bronze, round head with round shoulders and feet, spade money with three holes, value twelve chu, 'Peng Toi', (7.2 grams), height 56mm, (Coole Vol.3 4412, TFP 330, JMQB p.80). Light dirt adhering to green patina surface, otherwise very fine and very rare.
