DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), silver argenteus, Siscia mint struck 294-5 A.D., (2.62 grams), obv. laureate head to right, DIOCLETI ANVS AVG, rev. around VICTORIA SARMAT, camp gate surmounted by six turrets, four princes sacrificing, (cf.S.3504, RIC 36 [R5], RSC 488h). Brilliant FDC and extremely rare.
