PROBUS, (A.D. 276-282), base silver antoninianus, Rome mint (4.03 grams), obv. radiate cuirassed bust to right of Probus, around IMP PRO BVS AVG, rev. two captives seated at foot of trophy, around VICTOR IA GERM, in exergue R crescent A, (cf.S.3375, RIC 222). Lightly toned, broad flan, choice extremely fine.
