CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 193-5, (3.6 grams), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around [D CLO]D SEPT ALBIN CA[ES], rev. around [MINER] PA CIF COS II, Minerva standing to front, holding branch of olive and shield on ground, spear rests against arm, (S.1728, RIC 7, RSC 48). Small tight flan missing some legend, otherwise good very fine/very fine and rare.
