CLODIUS ALBINUS, (A.D. 195-197), silver denarius, Rome mint, issued A.D. 193-5, (2.4 grams), obv. bare head of Clodius Albinus to right, around D CL SEPT AL BIN CAES, rev. around PROVID AVG COS, Providentia standing facing head to left holding wand over large globe, (S.1729, RIC 1, RSC 55). Small tight flan, nearly extremely fine and rare.
