SASSANIAN KING, Shapur I, (240-270), silver drachm, (4.32 grams), obv. bust to right with crown, flowing hair type, rev. fire altar with attendants, crescent symbol on shaft, (cf.Sellwood Plate II, No.16, cf.Gobl 30, cf.M.815). Nearly extremely fine and very rare.
