IONIA, Phocaia, c.400-325 B.C. electrum hekte (2.6 grams), Bodenstedt dates 327 B.C., obv. head of Athena wearing crested Corinthian helmet, rev. quadripartite incuse square, the surface of each square slopes downwards, (S.4530, Bodenstedt 111, BMC 47-8, SNG Cop. 1020). Off centred on the obverse, otherwise very fine and rare.
