GALERIA VALERIA, second wife of Galerius, daughter of Diocletian, (A.D. 305-311), folles, issued Thessalonica mint in 308-310, (6.82 grams), obv. diademed and draped bust to right of Galeria Valeria, around GAL VALE RIA AVG, rev. Venus standing to left holding apple, around VENERI V ICTRICI. in exergue .SM.TS., star to left, G to right, (cf.S.3730, RIC 36). Extremely fine.
