DIOCLETIAN, (A.D. 284-305), AE folles, Cyzicus mint, issued A.D. 305-7, (9.03 grams), obv. laureate mantled bust of Diocletian to right, around D N DIOCLETIANO BAEATISSIMO SEN AVG, rev. around PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing to right, Quies standing left, leaning on sceptre, PTR in exergue, S F in field KS between figures, (cf.S.3543a, RIC 674 var., [Trier]). Some trace of silvering, nearly extremely fine and rare.
