PHILIP II AS CAESAR, (A.D. 244-247), emperor (A.D. 247-249), silver antoninianus, Rome mint, obv. radiate bust of Philip II to right, around M IVL PHILIPPVS CAES, rev. around PRINCIPI IVVENT, Philip Ii standing to left holding globe and spear, (S.2652, RIC 218d, C.48). Good very fine.
