JULIA MAMAEA, mother of Severus Alexander, (A.D. 222-235), silver denarius, (2.71 grams), obv. draped bust to right of Julia Mamaea, around IVLIA MAMAEA AVG, rev. Juno standing to left, holding patera and sceptre, eagle at feet, around IVNO CONSERVATRIX, (S.2310, RIC 343 [Severus Alexander], BMC. 143). Very fine.
