PESCENNIUS NIGER, (A.D. 193-194), silver denarius, Antioch mint, obv. laureate head of Persennius Niger to right, around IMP CAES C PESCE NIGER IVS AVG, rev. around MINER V I CTRIC, Minerva standing to left, holding nike with wreath in outstretched hand, and spear in other hand, (S.-, RIC 60 var. C.53a var.). Slight porosity, otherwise very fine and very rare.
