SABINA, wife of Hadrian, (died 137), struck at Rome, AE Sestertius, obv. S[ABINA A]VGVSTA HADR[IANI AVG PP, bust draped to right hair drawn up and elaborately plaited behind, rev. Ceres seated to left on basket, holding corn ears and torch, S C in exergue, (S.1194, RIC 1019, C.69). Legend missing in places on the obverse, otherwise evenly worn, very good and scarce.
