REPUBLIC, P. Clodius M.f.Turrinus, (c.42 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.81 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, lyre behind, border of dots, rev. Diana Lucifera standing holding two torches, bow and quiver over shoulder, around P CLODIVS M F, (S.328, Cr.494/23, Syd.1117). Attractive dark tone, nearly extremely fine.
