REPUBLIC, Q. Pomponius Musa, (c.66 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.97 grams), obv. laureate head of Apollo to right, scroll behind, rev. Clio holding scroll in right hand and resting left elbow on column, to right Q POMPONI, to left MVSA, (cf.S.293, Cr.410/3, Syd.813). Toned, good very fine and rare.
