Herrenius (c.108-107 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, (3.94 grams), obv. diademed head of Pietas to right, L before, PIETAS behind, rev. one of the Catanaean brothers running right, bearing his father on his shoulders on left M HERENNI downwards, (S.237, Cr.308/1a, Syd.567). Lightly toned, good very fine.
