REPUBLIC, Struck Coinage, Publius Calpurnius, (133 B.C.), silver denarius, Rome mint, obv. helmeted head of the Roma, * behind, rev. Venus in biga to right, crowned by Victory, who flies above, P CALP below, ROMA in exergue, (S.-, Cr.247/1, Syd. 468). Large flan, attractive very fine.
