SAMARIA, Satrap issue, (375-345 B.C.), silver hemi obol, (0.325 grams), obv. female head (Arethusa?), facing, border of dots, rev. bearded male head to l., with crested Athenian helmet, to left in Aramaic retrograde SMRYN, (Meshorer & Qedar 'Coinage of Samaria' (CS), CS 9 (43 known), and Samaria Hoard No.120 (CS), (this coin illustrated and described). Good fine for issue and very scarce.
