EGYPT, Kingdom of, Cleopatra VII (51-30 B.C.), Copper 80 drachmae, obv. diademed and draped bust of Cleopatra VII to right, rev. eagle standing left on thunderbolt, (Sv. 1871, BMC 4-5 (p.123), S.7955). Fair/poor and rare.

An important coin with the bust of Cleopatra VII on the obverse, who was associated with both Julius Caesar and Mark Antony. Her suicide in 30 B.C. bought to an end the Ptolemaic dynasty.
