EGYPT, Kingdom of, Ptolemy III, (246-221 B.C.), silver tetradrachm, (14.09 grams), year 3 issue = 244-3 B.C., Sidon mint, obv. diademed head of Ptolemy I to right, rev. eagle to left with closed wings, standing on thunderbolt around BASILEWS PTOLEMAIOV, to left SI over XH, to right G over MA monogram, (cf.S.7810, Sv.1027, SNG Cop.-). Good very fine.

These issues from this mint has the Regnal year as well as the mint of issue on the coin in the right and left field.
